This is my second blog post using this stamp set, if you missed yesterday's post don't forget to check it out to see three more cards using this set.
Let's get started!!

I will be doing all of my work today on my Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat.

For my first card, I cut a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel out of Neenah White Cardstock using my Guillotine Paper Trimmer. I also cut a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Masking Magic masking paper. Taking a die from the Infinity Circles Die Set I place it over the upper center area of my masking paper and run through my Big Shot Die Cut Machine. I remove the release paper and adhere over my card panel.

Using my Blender Brushes, I start by blending Mustard Seed Distress Ink around the bottom portion of the masked circle opening coming up the sides just a bit. Next, I blend Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink onto the center of the circle opening fading into the previous color. I also fade the color up a little where the next color will meet. *fading helps to create a seamless blend. I now blend Candied Apple Distress Ink to the top of the circle opening, fading into the previous color. I go back through each color using the ink that is left on the brushes and blend into each other to create a smooth blend then carefully remove the mask.

After the ink dries I place the panel into my MISTI Stamp Positioner and stamp and image from the Cape Cod Clear Stamp Set using Versafine Clair Nocturn Ink. I then stamp a sentiment from the same stamp set just below and to the right of my image.

I trim 1/4" off from the two sides of my blended panel then stamp the footprint stamp from the same stamp set across the left corner of the panel and also stamp some birds over the top right corner of my image from the By The Sea Stamp Set using Versafine Clair Nocturn Ink. I then mount onto a Tangerine Twist Cardstock card base using Double Sided Tape and this completes my first card.

For my second card, I cut a 3 3/4" x 5" panel of Neenah White Cardstock using my Guillotine Paper Trimmer and stamp the small lobster image from the Cape Cod Clear Stamp Set going across each corner using Coral Reef Ink.

I then place the panel into my Sunburst Embossing Folder and run through my Big Shot. Using Double Sided Tape, I adhere the panel onto a Storm Cloud Cardstock card base.

Next, I cut a circle out of Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the Infinity Circles Die Set then stamp the sign image from the Cape Cod Clear Stamp Set with Amalgam Obsidian Ink.  I also stamp the lobster cage image from the same set on a small piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I use my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color both images. Using the next size bigger die from the Infinity Circles Die Set I cut out of Storm Cloud Cardstock, running them through my Big Shot then mount the two circles together using Double Sided Tape. I cut a smaller circle out of Double Sided Adhesive Foam and attach it to the back of the die cut circles then mount onto the center of my card. I fussy cut my second image using my Razor Edge Shears, add Foam Tape to the back then mount it slightly over the other image and this completes my second card.

For my third and final card, I start with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white cardstock panel. Using my Spiral Stencil, I adhere over my panel using Purple Tape. Using my Blender Brushes, I blend Tumbled Glass Distress Ink around the outside edges of the panel. Next, I blend Peacock Feathers Distress Ink around the previous color, fading into it a bit. For my last color, I blend Salty Ocean Distress Ink over the center, fading back into the previous color.

With the stencil still attached, I take Iridescent Glitter Glitz Gel and add to the top portion of the panel. I use my Stencil Pal to drag the gel over and down the entire panel. After the panel is completely covered, I carefully remove the stencil and set it aside to dry for about 45 minutes to an hour. *as soon as I am done with my stencil and tools, I place them into a container of warm soapy water until I can clean them up. **I also put a piece of Press & Seal over the top of my gel container before closing with the lid. This helps keep the air out so the gel doesn't dry out.

While the panel is drying, I take a 4" x 5 1/2" white cardstock panel and place my Water Droplets Stencil over it and run through my Big Shot as I want to add some subtle texture to the background. I then adhere it to a Blue Raspberry Cardstock card base using Double Sided Tape.

Using a panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock, I place it into my MISTI and stamp four images from the Cape Cod Clear Stamp Set using Amalgam Obsidian Ink. I use my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color all of the images then fussy cut all of them using my Razor Edge Shears. After my gel background is completely dry, I trim it down to be 1 3/4" wide and save the rest of the panel for a future project. I adhere my gel strip onto a 2" x 5 1/2" strip of Blue Raspberry Cardstock using Double Sided Tape. I then cut a slightly smaller piece of Double Sided Adhesive Foam and adhere to the back of my strip then mount onto my card front. I use Foam Tape to mount the ferry image over the gel strip. I also add Foam Tape to the bottom portion of the sign image and add Liquid Glue to the top portion of the sign then mount. I add Liquid Glue to the two sign images and adhere. This completes my third and final card.

There you have it, six cards all made from the same stamp set. Check often as the sales will be frequently changing. I will be using kraft cardstock as well as black cardstock. This is a fun technique to use on any color of cardstock. I wanted to show the look on a light colored cardstock vs a dark color. The key to using any color of cardstock is to first lay down white pigment ink follo

Embossing With Stencils

Hello, welcome to my blog! Today's card project focuses on heat embossing with stencils. Stencils are great for ink blending and are economical. Did you know you can also heat emboss with your stencils? I am showing an example of white heat embossing, but you could also ink blend your stencil then heat emboss with clear embossing powder, if you don't mind getting your embossing pad dirty. Some people have a clean embossing pad dedicated for embossing only, and another embossing pad that they use for different techniques that may get the pad dirty. Let's get started!! To start, I cut a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white Neenah cardstock panel using my Tim Holtz Guillotine paper trimmer. I add Gina K. Designs Adhesive Dot Runner  to the corners on the back side of my white card panel to temporarily hold it down onto my Tonic Studios Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat . Next, I prep my panel with my Anti Static powder bag. I then place my Gina K. Designs Water Droplets stencil
