Layered Snowflakes

Creating Backgrounds - Masculine

  Hello, welcome to my blog!!  I want to start out by thanking everyone for the support and nice comments you all leave for me. I truly appreciate the support of this blog!! I enjoy card making and bringing my creations to you, this wouldn't be possible without your support, so again, thank you!!! Sorry for the delay in my card making! A couple of things came up where I wasn't able to make time for my card making. With colder weather creeping in, there are a couple of things we needed to get done to the house. Anyhow, I am back!! Today, I wanted to make a masculine birthday card by creating different backgrounds. Sometimes I forget how simple it is to create my own backgrounds. I will be using both regular Distress and Distress Oxide inks for my backgrounds, using the direct ink to paper technique as well as some heat embossing. ***FYI the background stamp I use for this card is on clearance right now at a GREAT price!!
