Wild Flora W/Altenew Watercolors

Hello, welcome to my blog!! For today's card, I will be water coloring using a new stamp set from Altenew. Whether coloring with Zig Markers, Colorbursts, watercolor paints or Copic Markers, Altenew has a great selection of floral stamps to choose from. Gradient Ink Blend W/Embossing

Hello, welcome to my blog!! Today I have a gradient ink blended panel paired with gold embossing for an elegant look. This is a very versatile stamp set with lots of florals and leaves that could be masked to create bouquets of flowers, stamped tone on tone, great for water coloring, or used to create embossed borders as I did on today's card. Let's get started!! I will be doing all of today's work on my Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat . To start, I cut a 3 3/4" x 5" panel out of Neenah White Cardsto...

I will be water coloring the image from Altenew's Statement Flowers Stamp Set. It's name says it all, this image is huge and takes up the entire card front! For my water coloring, I will be using Altenew's 36 Pan Watercolor Set. I chose to add soft colors to my image today and these paints worked perfect for the look I was going for. There wasn't a whole lot of background showing on my card but I didn't want to leave it plain, so I used a stencil and softly blended some gray Distress ink to add a little interest. Let's get started!! I will be doing all of my work today on my Tim Holtz Glass media Mat . To start, I take a panel of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and place it into my MISTI Stamp Positioner .
